2024 MidYear MeetUp
August 5th & 8th , 2024 — Chicago, IL
G2.com hosted their MidYear MeetUp (MYMU) in Chicago this past August as a time to re-energize and re-connect employees to the values and mission that drive the company. This is our 3rd time supporting the G2 events team in bringing this event to life. Highlights from this particular year include:
Incorporation of ERGs through local vendors. Our team helped source three particular local vendors to showcase support of three different company ERGs (Employee Resource Groups). This included Vietnamese Iced Coffee from VietFive Coffee to support the company's Asian and Pacific Islander & Allies ERG; Pride Cupcakes from JenniVee's Bakery to support the LGBTQ+ & Allies ERG; and Mexican Wedding Cookies from Alliance Bakery to support the LatinX & Allies ERG.
Field Day at The Old Post Office. Remember field day from elementary school? Who doesn't love some healthy inter-office competition to keep the whole crew motivated?! This year's MYMU included a field day challenge at the offsite evening event taking place at The Old Post Office. Shooting hoops, three-legged races, and CSR backpack creation - oh, my! Turns out, the rehearsal day for the Air and Water Show added it's own entertainment value for us as well. We planned that, we swear...

18th Annual Conference for African American Financial Professionals
August 12th - 14th, 2024 — Atlanta, GA
This was our second year supporting The American College of Financial Services on CAAFP and our first event at the new Signia by Hilton in Atlanta. This event is the nation’s premier professional development conference for Black, African American, and DEI-committed financial professionals. In 2024, ACFS focused on “Expanding Our Collective Impact” – working together to advance strategies for economic empowerment that cross generations, strengthen impact, and power transformational change. 2024 Frameworx Expo
September 22nd - 23rd, 2024 — Rosemont, IL
Frameworx Expo is an annual event designed specifically for independent custom picture framers, hosted by Crescent Brands. This two-day event provides educational seminars, networking opportunities, and product showcases specifically tailored for professionals in the custom picture framing industry. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from industry experts and connect with peers to share insights and experiences. This is our second year assisting the Crescent Brands team with the Frameworx Expo, both year's hosted at the Marriott O'Hare.
