University of Chicago's 538th Convocation 2024

We are so proud to have supported the Office of University Events & Ceremonies on such a special day! Thank you to their team for letting us join along the way. This event is a true partnership between many Chicago based companies to bring the ultimate experience of 18,000 graduates and guests across over 15 different sites..

The University of Chicago confers degrees in a ceremony we call Convocation, or a “calling together”.

All elements of the University community are assembled:

• degree candidates and their families and friends

• faculty, deans 

• officers and trustees of the University

• provost and president.

Each division and school hosts a separate ceremony where degree candidates are honored individually through the presentation of diplomas or hoods.
